Pioneer Digagnostic center
PDC is an ISO 9001:2015 certified private diagnostic imaging center based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It was established in 2006 G.C with a single 0.3 Tesla MRI. Currently, it is offering imaging services such as CT scans, MRIs, Mammography, Digital X-Rays, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Bone Densitometry, and Nuclear Medicine (SPECT-CT) through its seven branches in Addis Ababa, two branches in Debrebirhan and Butajira, and a partnership with a Liyana hospital in Hawassa, which has one MRI and one CT machine. PDC offers imaging and radiology services through a combination of standalone, integrated, and teleradiology service types.
Subspecialists handle more than 75% of radiology reports, which improves reporting quality and patient outcomes. PDC features cutting-edge imaging technology, including three 1.5 tesla MRI machines, Logic P9 ultrasound machine, a Pristina 3D mammography with stereotactic biopsy unit, Nine CT-Scan machines, one of which is 128 slices, and NM/CT 860 SPECT Ct Machine. In addition to the machinery and advanced technology it also provides free ambulance service for MRI and CT Scans.

In a welcoming outpatient environment, PDC provides patients with a comprehensive range of imaging treatments. The Ministry of Health has awarded us a Green Certificate for our “Quality and Compassionate Patient Care” because of our exceptional professional and humanistic care and attention to our patients.
By combining cutting-edge technology, substantial clinical knowledge, and compassionate patient care, PDC has been offering diagnostic imaging services 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
The Ministry of Health and the Ethiopian Radiation Authority have accredited our radiologists, technicians, and nurses. Our radiologists also hold certifications in a variety of subspecialties, including neuroradiology, body imaging, cardiothoracic, women and breast and musculoskeletal.
PDC as one of the leading diagnostic centers in Ethiopia features 24 hours diagnostic imaging services, including high quality images, PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), Sub-specialty reporting and free ambulance service for patients requiring MRI and CT Scans.
